Whitehaven has a long tradition as a market town our Farmer & Craft Market continues the old tradition. With meats, cheeses, home-made chocolates, freshly baked bread and cakes combined with traditional crafts such as quilt making and jewellery the market is a veritable joy to attend. It also encourages and supports local producers, whether they are new or established businesses. Although the market only started last year it has quickly established itself as the place to shop for those individual gifts and much sought after local produce.
